My name is Ali Ghamati, I have just started with my internship at Condi Food as part of my master’s graduation project. During my 7 month internship I will be working on developing a method to characterize the sour taste in tomatoes using hyperspectral imaging. My background is analytical chemistry, with a strong affinity for spectroscopic techniques and chemometrics. For the past 4.5 years I have worked in the process analytical technology (PAT) team of AkzoNobel and later Nouryon in Deventer. My roles in this team were performing feasibility studies and developing mainly in-line specroscopic methods based on IR/NIR/Raman. I am looking forward to share and extend my specroscopic knowledge, and meet new people here at Condi Food.
